Tips for visitors from overseas

  • Timetables are in Japan Standard Time (UTC+9). Tokachi Bus and JR timetables use the 24-hour clock, so 20:29 is 8:29 p.m.
  • Buses are few. Check the time of your return bus before you leave Obihiro.
  • The nearest airport is Tokachi-Obihiro Airport (OBO). It has flights from Tokyo (Haneda).
  • From Sapporo, a JR limited express runs to Obihiro.
  • In winter (December to March) roads and pavements are icy. Wear shoes with good grip and allow extra time.
  • This site has not confirmed which languages the displays and staff at Cirotto support. If that matters for your visit, ask by phone or check the official website before you go.
